Spellblade

Adventure game drawing inspiration from the Rules Cyclopedia (1991) as well as various OSR games as well as countless blog posts and YouTube videos. Work in progress translation of Magelame, personal project started in the summer of 2022 and released on itch.io on December 30th 2024.

Features:

• Compatible with most pseudo-medieval OSR or NSR systems and adventures.
• 3 base classes (Champion, Exalted & Sorcerer) plus the Specialist and the Spellblade. Semi-human classes to come.
• Quick backgrounds and starting equipment generators.
• Randomized character progression.
• Dungeon Crawl Classics inspired (and compatible) roll-to-cast magic system.
• Roll either a d20 for hit or miss situations (combat), or 2d6 for nuanced results (attribute checks).
• Player-facing rolls. Players roll both attack and defence.
